ABOUT
Cade Biofuels manufacture both Grade A and a mixed grade, non-hazardous, biomass fuel at our facility in Lydney.
Our biomass fuel is hand-sorted from clean, untreated waste wood. The biomass fuel is then processed through our shredding line, which regularises the particles to G50 or P31s size.
Following the shredding process, the fuel makes it way to our magnet line. This incorporates an Eddy Current and two ferrous metal magnets, removing most, if not all, metal.
After the magnet line the product then makes its way to the screening process. Fines and oversize are removed.

Our biomass fuel is 100% recovered for heat and electrical energy to reduce carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels. Manufacturing the biomass fuel from waste wood products also diverts that waste wood from landfill.

We are able to offer a consistent, dry, very high calorific product at extremely competitive prices.

PRODUCTS
Grade A Fuel
We accept clean (unpainted) pallets, crates, process off-cuts, and untreated board products.

This fuel does not need an IED Chapter IV installation and does not
contain any treated or low grade material.
Mixed Grade Fuel (non-hazardous)
Having removed the cleanest material, we are left with the some Grade A, as well as Grades B and C.
This will include some building and demolition materials, domestic
furniture made from solid
wood, as well as flat pack furniture made from board products and DIY materials. We do not process hazardous (Grade D) waste wood.
Fines & Animal Bedding
During our Grade A fuel manufacturing process, we remove all of the fines below a 20mm particle size. This by-product makes an excellent, absorbent, animal bedding.
These fines can also be purchased for panelboard manufacture.
